Jody Trautwein’s destiny was altered on March 19, 1995, the day he watched his father have a massive heart attack at their home church in Birmingham, Alabama, and breathe his last breath here on earth. The youngest of three brothers in a family that did not grow up in church, Jody had been a Christian eleven months when this event took place. Jody had surrendered his heart to the Lord on April 29, 1994, at the age of 23 and on November 8 of the same year on a missions trip to Jamaica received the call of God to preach the gospel to the nations as a “fisher of men”. God had been preparing Jody’s heart for this traumatic experience in the months just prior to it by continually showing him and telling him that He was his Father. The result was an ever-increasing desire to minister to a fatherless generation in the “spirit of Elijah” (Mal 4:6) declaring that they are fatherless no more!

Ministry History
Jody’s ministry began in Birmingham, Alabama, where he currently resides. Inspired after listening to a Creation Scientist refute evolution and the teaching of it in public schools, Jody went immediately to his former high school science teacher and quickly renewed relationships with several former teachers and coaches. After accepting a teaching and coaching position at his alma mater Jody realized that God had strategically placed him there to change lives. A weekly devotional with the football team quickly exploded into daily prayer meetings and Bible studies before and after school where hundreds of students and faculty members’ lives were changed by the power of God! Jody then began traveling and speaking in schools, churches and on the streets of Birmingham, Alabama. His evangelistic travels have taken him to various cities in Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Ohio, New York, Massachusetts, Maine, Jamaica, and Israel. Jody’s heart and message are for reformation! He believes sincere repentance always leads to revival, reformation, and city-wide transformation! His experience as a pastor, an educator, a corporate businessman, and a political figure has awakened a passion within him to see every aspect of society touched by and transformed by the power and presence of Almighty God! His message imparts a desire for souls, reformation, and transformation in hearts, homes, schools, churches, businesses, government, and entire cities!
